Luke Hogan is a mature 15 year old and a new and promising young Irish actor.
Luke has attended drama school for the last 6 years. He is an extremely hard worker with a great work ethic, spending over 15 hours a week in the studio perfecting all the different aspects of performance - acting, singing and dancing.
One of his key strengths is his voice and he is vocally trained by renowned soprano, Mary Hegarty. Luke sang for President Higgins at a recent visit to Cork.
Luke is a seasoned performer and some of his key roles were playing Frederick VonTrapp in the very successful Cork Opera House production of The Sound of Music, which had two runs over an 18 month period. He also played the lead role of Prince Eric in an Everyman Production of The Little Mermaid, a first production for Cork Theatre.
Luke takes direction very well and is continually looking to new ways of bettering himself. The harder the challenge, the better.
If not in the studio, you will find Luke on a surf board or on a basketball court playing for his school team.
