Biography

Tiernan has been passionate about acting for many years. He joined Red Moon Theatre group when he was 7 and stayed with them for a few years. When he was 10 he auditioned for Oyster Lane Theatre's adaptation of Oliver, he got a part as one of Fagan's gang. In 2009, he started drama classes with Olga Conway.

He also was in the school choir for many years and enjoys singing. The choir provided an opportunity for the boys to sing on stage in the Wexford Opera House with the Irish singer 'John Spillane.

Tiernan has been a member of County Wexford Youth Theatre (CWYT) for the last 4 years and has played the role of 'Hamlet' and more recently performed in 'That Night Follows Day' which toured in Wexford, Cork and Dublin.

In 2012 Tiernan was cast as an Altar boy in a pilot for a tv show 'Blessed Ignorance of Men'.

In 2014 he was cast as a bully 'Mark' for a short film 'Anywhere But Here' directed by John Hayes and made by Sweet Media.

In October 2015, Tiernan was one of two actors, in a one act play 'Ghost Radio' which ran for 10 shows during the Opera Festival in Wexford, written and Directed by Eamonn Colfer.
