A new police procedural drama, with the first season looking at Ireland through the eyes of immigrants being held in Direct Provision, for RTE.

OBA BANKOLE - 12. A refugee from Nigeria who’s spent 8 years awaiting asylum in Ireland. Loves sport. Carries trauma from the childhood journey to Ireland which is inflamed by police attention. A disruptive presence in school.Doesn’t express the depth of his anxiety to anyone.
EMMANUEL BANKOLE - 17. A refugee from Nigeria who’s spent 8 years awaiting asylum in Ireland and now feels more Irish than Nigerian. Studying for his Leaving Cert.
Feels increasingly frustrated by the injustice of Direct Provision. Though close quarters living leads to friction with his mother and brother, he loves them both. Happy to go out on the town with his friends, drink, flirt with girls.
